Vocational and Academic Scholarships

The Juvenile Hall Auxiliary offers financial aid to students who were or are in placement under the jurisdiction of the Court in the amounts of at least $300 per quarter or $500 per semester. The money is to be used for post high school education in the academic, vocational, or specialized training fields. We expect our students to commit themselves to a full-time educational program. To continue to qualify for the program each semester, the student must complete a full-time class load and maintain a 2.0 GPA.
Eligibility In order to qualify, the student must be a high school graduate with a reputation for dependability and have taken and provided to the Auxiliary a copy of their assessment tests, from their desired institution. Amy Ross, our School Assistance Counselor, will review the student's application and contact the applicant to set up an interview. The applicant must send or fax the completed application to: Juvenile Hall Auxiliary 202 Glacier Dr. Martinez, CA 94553 Fax: (925) 957-2715 Click here to download a Vocational and Academic Scholarship application. |
